Window.scroll() Method

Name

Window.scroll() Method---scroll a document in a window

Availability

Navigator 3.0

Synopsis

window.scroll(x, y)

Arguments

x

The X-coordinate to scroll to.

y

The Y-coordinate to scroll to.

Returns

Nothing.

Description

The scroll() method moves the window's document within the window, so that the specified x and y coordinates of the document appear in the upper-left corner of the window.

The X coordinate increases to the right, and the Y coordinate increases down the page. Thus, scroll(0,0) always places the top-left corner of the document in the top-left corner of the window.
