Ericsson has joined the Open Source Development Lab (OSDL) working with other members to develop feature roadmaps to enable Linux for the enterprise and telecommunications market segments. As a member of OSDL, Ericsson will be focusing its efforts within the Carrier-Grade Linux Working Group with other members gathering requirements, establishing roadmaps, publishing specifications, defining architectures and sponsoring an open-source project needed to achieve a true, carrier-grade Linux. The Open Systems Lab at Ericsson Research will be representing Ericsson. The DSI Project is one of several Ericsson projects to be contributed to the Open Source community.
